LIFE Tutoring Program (Black Hawk College Literacy Program)

Program description: Tutoring for adults 16 years of age and older at the reading level of 9th grade and below.

Program serves annually:  190 students, 120 tutors

Fee for program: None

Special services: One-on-one tutors for adult students

LIFE Tutoring Program is part of
Black Hawk College Literacy Program and is funded by grants.

Through pretest and post tests, the LIFE Program surveys and reports the progress of the program each semester.
