Black Hawk College Literacy Program

Program description: 
The program is for persons 16 years of age to adult, who read below a 9th grade level. 

Program established: 1991
Program serves annually:  450
Fee for program: No fees for those who qualify 
Special services: Childcare for adults while enrolled in Family Literacy Programs while they are studying for their GED or ESL (Transportation at some sites).
